Some of the positives about South Central today are there isnt really much rasicm anymore and we all get treated equal now & riots havent been occurring lately . Some of the negative about South Central is the economy is really bad and theres alot of violence such as gangs , prostitution , drugs and plenty more bad things . The three events that have had the greatest impact are Watts Riot , LA riots , and early history of Watts .
The first event that had a great impact on making South Central what it is today is the Watts Riot .. The event happen because the police were making unfair choices which left them with alot of angry people . After the police did what they did alot of people in the neighborhood began to create violence because they felt they werent having enough rights . The people were so angry they began killing people , attacking cops , which led to a big riot and innocent people were either killed or dangered . It also made alot of people come as One which showed we all can get alone .
The Second event that had a great impact on making South Central what it is today is La riots which was also another event that led alot of people to attacking the cops because the cops started doing bad stuff and getting away with it . There was plenty of people who were highly upset and beganned every white they seen ,. It was a man waiting in his car at the light and a man ran up to his car and pulled him out and began beating him up very badly . tHis riot was very chaotic . This riot impacted people because many people were killed and alot of people also learned fromm there mistakes and earned the rights that they have of today .
The third event that had a great impact on making South Central what it is today is the Early Watts Riot because it taught me alot on my back ground because i didnt know the place i be at everyday went threw so much and had riotsb . Everytime i walk into the jordan down projects i always think to my self “this is where they use to house the people for wars and stuff” i also teach my little cousin about it . It made alot of people realize they should fight for they land and never give up . It effected people because it was really dangerous and people always gone remember that moment .
My three choices were the watts riot , la riot , & the early history of watts . I picked those because i feel these matters the most because there close to us today and these are our homes now and we should have the rights to know what have been happening so we can pass the story on to our next generation . I think in the future South Central will be ok as long as us children do our best and take care of our city and stop the violence aND INCREASE THE *peaceeeee*
HOW CAN EDUCATION CHANGE YOUR LIFE ? HOW DO YOU SHOW EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT? what dO you do to show that you take education seriously?
IF YOUR WELL EDUCATED YOU CAN GO TO COOL UNIVERSITY’S AND GO TO DIFFRENT STATES LEARNING NEW THINGS AND WITH ALL YOUR EDUCATION YOU CAN BECOME SOMEONE VERY IMPORTANT AND BE A GREAT LEADER IN LIFE. YOU CAN STAY ON TASK AND KEEP DOING GOOD AND MAKE EDUCATION YOUR NUMBER ONE PRIOTITY THAT WILL SHOW THAT YOU TAKE YOUR EDUCATION VERY SERIOUS AND IT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. I COMPLETE ALL MY WORK AND TRY MY BEST TO MAKE DESENT GRADES AND KEEP TRYING KNOW MATTER HOW COMPLICATED MY WORK GET. I ALSO , MAKE MY EDUCATION MY NUMBER ONE PRIORITY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE EDUCATION GIVING TO ME .
WHO IS SOMEONE THAT HAS GOTTEN THEIR EDUCATION? HOW DOES IT SEEM TO HAVE MADE THEIR LIFE BETTER?HOW HAVE THEY BENEFITED FROM GETTING THEIR EDUCATION?
MY BIG SISTER IS VERY WELL EDUCATED . IT MADE HER LIFE BETTER BECAUSE SHE CULMINATED FROM ELEMENTARY , MIDDLE SCHOOL , AND GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL WITH A HIGH GRADE POINT AVERAGE. SHE ALSO WENT TO COLLEGE AND TOOK UP NURSING AND SHE GET PAID FOR IT ALSO AND THATS HOW SHE PURCHASE HER BOOKS AND OTHER STUFF THAT SHE NEEDS AND SHE ALSO SAVED UP MONEY AND BOUGHT A NICE CAR AND HAVE A VERY WELL PAYING JOB AND HER WELL EDUCATED BRAIN IS WHAT GOT HER WERE SHE IS TODAY!
WHO IS SOMEONE YOU KNOW THAT HAS NOT GOTTEN THEIR EDUCATION? IS THEIR LIFE HARDER? HAS NOT GETTING THEIR EDUCATION MADE THEIR LIFE DIFFICULT? WHY OR WHY NOT?
MY GRANDPA DROPPED OUT OF SCHOOL IN THE 5TH GRADE BECAUSE HIS PARENTS MADE HIM . HE STILL SURVIVED AND IS THE MANAGER OF ‘ARMARK’ . NO HIS LIFE IS NOT HARD ACTUALLY HE’S LIVING A REALLY GOOD WEALTHY LIFE AND MAKES GOOD MONEY AND HAS ALOT OF NICE CARS , CLOTHES , SHOES , ECT…. NO IT DIDNT MAKE HIS LIFE DIFFICULT HE HAS A VERY INTERESTING LIFE.
HOW DO YOU THINK GETTING YOUR EDUCATION WILL HELP YOU IN YOUR FUTURE?AFTER HIGH SCHOOL, ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO COLLEGE? IF SO, WHAT COLLEGE DO YOU WANT TO GO TO? IF NOT , WHY NOT? WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO DO FOR A CAREER?
I THINK GETTING MY EDUCATION WILL HELP ME BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE AND MAKE MY LIFE ALOT EASIER AND PROVIDE ME WITH A WELL PAYING JOB. AFTER HIGH SCHOOL I DO PLAN ON GOING TO ALANTA TECH COLLEGE SO I CAN BECOME SMARTER AND BECOME A HAIR STYLIST , CLOTHES DESIGNER , AND MAKE UP ARTIST BECAUSE I WANT TO BE A MODEL AND THAT WILL LEAD ME ON TO DOING MT OWN MAKE UP AND HAIR AND DESIGNING MY OWN CLOTHES FOR RUN WAY SHOWS :-)
Rosa Parks and my Grandmother has alot in common.
They are both old {LOL} and are both African Americasn women. Also , they both like to get there point across and will NOT give up until their point is across and they suceed their goals.
Rosa Parks and my Grandmother both hate racism and they both beleive that we all should be treaten the same know matter what skin color you are . !
Rosa Parks is the greatest leader in history to me .
The reason i say this is because she stood up and faught for african Americans.
She went threw alot and never gave up so she could be able to earn her rights and freedom. Rosa Parks got arrested by the police just so she can prove her point across to show the world we are all ONE and have the same rights and shall alll be equal know matter what skin color or race you are.
My grandmother is a good leader.
The reason I feel she is a good leader is because she always guide me and my family threw hard/ruff times and give us good advice and motivate us to do well.
My granny graduated from (ELEMENTARY,MIDDLE SCHOOL,HIGH SCHOOL,AND SHE ALSO COMPLETED PLENTY YEARS IN COLLEGE).
She made me want to do the same and to get a well paying job at Centinela Hospital just like her but, in order to do that she told me i have to do good in school .

Five Great Things at Animo Locke II is that there very Organized even though they’re VERY strict! .. The reason I say they’re organized is because they make sure they Do They’re job so we can be successful ! .. Some other great things about Animo Locke II that parents love is that all the teachers , staffs ect…… takes There jobs very seriously. 0Ur school also is very social, Everyone get alone well , we treat eachother how we would want to be treated , and the staff’s and teachers make sure “EDUCATION” is our number one priority because they want the BEST of us out of life.

My name is Sharay Genea Gunn , and ive been attending Animo Locke II Since the beggining of my freshman year. It has been about seven months. Before i checked into Animo Locke II i attended Samuel Gompers Middle School. When i was in Middle School i pictured myself at A different School and i begged my mother not to send me to Animo Locke II . I pictured Locke as being a drama School with fights all Day . But, now since Green Dot came I think itb bettered this School Alot!! . Its nothing I thought it would be . It’s a Drama FREE school !
